2. What can I expect during my Preview presentation?

During your personal Preview, you'll enjoy a friendly and relaxing presentation by one of our knowledgeable Sales Executives. You'll have fun learning all about Marriott Vacation Club ownership, and how you can enjoy a lifetime of vacations.

The presentation lasts approximately 90 minutes, and when you leave you'll know how easy it is to turn your vacation dreams into reality. Please use this time to ask any questions you may have about timeshare ownership, the Marriott way—our Sales Executives are here for you!

3. What is a timeshare?

Timeshare provides you an opportunity to own a vacation villa interest for a set amount of time each year in a spectacular resort environment. Villas closely resemble condominium-style accommodations, ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms.

4. How does a vacation at a timeshare resort differ from a traditional hotel stay?

While both help you to achieve your goal of fun and relaxation, timeshare resorts offer added space and amenities that help to make your vacation more comfortable for you and your family. While hotel and resort accommodations typically consist of one approximate 480-square-foot room sleeping a maximum of 4 people, Marriott Vacation Club villas more closely resemble a typical condominium boasting all the comforts of home.

Villas range in size from 1-, 2- and three-bedroom floorplans, each designed with décor unique to that destination. Typical villa features include fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, spacious living and dining areas, master suite with king-sized bed and oversize shower, luxurious bedding, multiple televisions and DVD player(s), washer/dryer and a private balcony or patio.

5. What type of timeshare ownership options are available?

In many cases, when you purchase a timeshare from Marriott Vacation Club, you receive a deed—just as you would with a house. This means the property is yours indefinitely for the specified week(s) purchased and can be handed down to your heirs. Purchasing timeshare means having a lifetime of vacation flexibility. Most Owners purchase "floating time," allowing them a block of weeks within a preferred season to vacation each year.

6. How much will my timeshare cost?

Prices vary depending on several factors, including the season purchased. Other factors such as view type or size of the unit purchased will also contribute to a difference in price. During your preview presentation, your Sales Executive will explain all the pricing options available.

7. Can I finance my timeshare purchase?

Make ownership of a lifetime of vacations affordable with financing options, available for qualified individuals, through Marriott Ownership Resort, Inc. Be sure to inquire about the financing options available at the time of purchase.

8. Are there any additional expenses associated with my timeshare purchase?

In addition to the purchase price of your timeshare unit, you will be responsible for an annual maintenance fee, paid to your Condominium Owner's Association (COA). This fee ensures that your home resort is professionally maintained (inside and out) to the standards that you come to expect from the Marriott name. When you purchase a deeded timeshare interest, you will also be responsible for your share of annual real estate taxes.

9. What is expected of me during my preview presentation?

All we ask is that you simply have fun, ask lots of questions and keep an open mind. If married or living together, couples must attend the sales presentation together; individuals may purchase separately. Plus, if you have children, we have fun activities for them while you're enjoying your personal Preview.
